A part of the Nova Scotia Coastal Heritage Park System, Conrad's Beach is a jewel. The system is made up of three beach's - Lawrencetown Beach, Stoney Beach, and Conrad's Beach. Most of the beaches around are made up of rocks and cobblestones. But Conrad's is one of the nicest sand beaches around. There still are cobbles to navigate in some.

Just a 25 minute drive from downtown Halifax, Conrads Beach is a great spot to take off your shoes and walk in the sand. Located just a few minutes before Lawrencetown Beach, Conrads is one of the nicest sandy beaches around.

Conrad's, though lesser known, is a beautiful sandy beach just minutes from Dartmouth. Because it is sheltered, it has smaller waves than nearby Lawrencetown Beach.

It is so sandy and would be perfect in the summer. It stretches as far as the eye can see. It rivals Wasaga in Ontario. It was nice for a long stroll along. Even in the rain and storm, it was beautiful to see the crashing waves and to walk along it. A must see if you are in the Halifax area.
